Are you ready to start a journey in a rewarding career as an Occupational Therapy Assistant? When you become an Occupational Therapy Assistant, you will help clients and patients overcome challenges caused by an injury, disability or illness. Work in a variety of industries and with people of all ages. Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants (COTA) often work in hospitals, rehabilitation centers, homes, schools and more.

This program will prepare you for entry-level employment as a COTA. Graduates are eligible to apply for certification by examination from the National Board of Certification in Occupational Therapy, and, upon successful completion of the examination, the graduate may apply for state licensure, which is offered based upon the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT) Certification examination results. Licensure is required for practice.
